Dog Runner (1989, 2004; ISBN: 0-595-33231-5) is my young adult adventure novel about a teenager torn between two cultures in northern Alberta. It won the 1990 Writers Guild of Alberta Award of Excellence for Children’s Literature, and has also been published in Dutch (De hondenrenner, Averbode, Apeldoorn, Altiora) and German (Das Rennen, Verlag St. Gabriel, Austria).
